First Tennessee has named John Sergent as retail banking executive for its East Tennessee market. Sergent has worked in the financial services industry since 2003 and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Mississippi State University.
His career with First Tennessee dates to 2009 and includes roles as financial center manager and senior regional sales manager. He was most recently community president in Wilson County, Tennessee.
