Open house for new Realtors’ building

Knoxville Area Association of Realtors (KAAR) is holding a grand opening for its Education Center at 609 N. Weisgarber Road on Friday, Sept. 22, from 1-6 p.m. The building has been under renovation since summer 2015. Members are invited to tour the facility and enjoy door prizes and refreshments, including ice cream from Cruze Farms and doughnuts from Bearden’s Status Dough.

Members also have an important opportunity to vote on changes to the organization’s by-laws at this time.

The not-for-profit organization was founded in 1912 to help real estate professionals in the ethical and professional conduct of their business. KAAR serves more than 3,500 member Realtors and more than 150 members in affiliated industries, such as mortgage brokerages, marketing specialists and others. Realtor members receive free continuing education from KAAR and have access to other networking events, professional development and counsel, and much more.
