Knox County observed national Mental Health Awareness Month during May to increase the awareness and understanding of mental health in our community.
Throughout the month, the Knox County Health Department produced a series of condensed reports, each one focusing on mental health within a specific population. The documents contained statistics that speak to the volume of the issue and resources that are available.
The first focused on mental health and children. The second on mental health and postpartum. And the final report was on mental health and veterans. All reports are available on the department’s website here.
