With the recent completion of the basketball court lighting at McFee Park, the court has joined the roster of rentable facilities for parkgoers to enjoy.
There have been changes to court reservation policies. Basketball and tennis/pickleball courts are now available for hourly rentals from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., seven days a week. Pickleball courts are $5 an hour and tennis and basketball rentals are $10 an hour. Reservations for tennis should be made by reserving two pickleball courts together, either pickleball courts 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6 or 7 and 8. Online reservations must be made at least one day in advance, but if courts are available, same-day reservations can be made by calling 865-218-3376 before 3:30 p.m.
If courts are not reserved, they are available for free, drop-in use on a first come, first served basis. To check if a court is reserved or to make a reservation, scan the QR code located in the kiosks at the courts or visit here or here. Lights for all courts will only be turned on if there is a paid reservation.
