Two fundraisers have been combined, creating one night of music on Market Square to benefit two popular nonprofits.

Legacy Parks Foundation has merged its benefit concert, originally set for Aug. 10, with the Cheers to 20 Years of WDVX music event on Friday, Sept. 1.

“Thanks to (sponsor) Blackhorse Brewery and WDVX, we’ve taken a great event and made it even better,” said Carol Evans, executive director of Legacy Parks Foundation. “Having an outdoor setting along with more music, beer, food and fun will make this an unforgettable night for our community while allowing them to support two great nonprofits.”

Featured performers are Nashville’s rock and roll trio the Royal Hounds, and country/folk singer Robinella, backed by a full band. Opening entertainment is Night Colors, led by siblings Elijah and Hannah Cruise. Info: legacyparks.org or wdvx.com
