Interested in transferring to a Knox County Schools virtual school in the 2021-22 school year? The application window is now open.

KCS expects to offer three virtual schools in the upcoming year – one each for elementary, middle and high school students. The deadline to submit a transfer application is 4 p.m. on Friday, May 14, and approval notifications will be sent in June.

A waiting list will be maintained for requests that are not approved. More details, including the prerequisites to participate and the priority list for transfer approvals, will be available here.

Several KCS high schools were recognized by US News this week in the magazine’s list of Tennessee’s top public high schools! Check out the full list here. Congratulations to all the honorees, we’re proud of you!
