Emily Amburn, PA-C, has joined Knoxville Heart Group, 1819 Clinch Avenue, Suite 108, located at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. Amburn has a master’s of science in physician assistant studies from East Carolina University and a bachelor’s of science in kinesiology from University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Maeturah Harmon, DO, FACOOG, has joined the women’s healthcare team at Fort Sanders Women’s Specialists. The board-certified physician brings 10 years of medical experience to Fort Sanders Women’s Specialists. Dr. Harmon says she is fiercely driven to empower women through education while addressing healthcare needs to achieve short-term wellbeing and long-term quality of life. Her clinical interests include abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids, contraception counseling, infertility concerns, preconception counseling, and preventative women’s health.

Dr. Harmon attended medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine at Blacksburg, Virginia. She did a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. Info: 865-331-1122.

Shelly Lewis, MD, FACOG, has joined LeConte Women’s Healthcare Associates. Dr. Lewis brings expert medical care to women in our community. She will care for patients and deliver babies at LeConte Medical Center.

Dr. Lewis is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. Clinical interests include continuity of care, contraception, gynecologic surgery and obstetrics. She did her residency at UT Medical Center in Knoxville; she attended medical school at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.
