Hopper is real estate EVP at Powell Auction

Powell Auction & Realty LLC has named Phillip Hopper as executive vice president of real estate. In this new role, Hopper will lead the full spectrum of the company’s work in real estate including commercial and residential properties and land, utilizing both traditional listings and auction services.

Hopper earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Tennessee and holds Tennessee licenses as a real estate agent and auctioneer. He is a native Knoxvillian and holds leadership roles with the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors and the Tennessee Association of Realtors. He also serves on the board of Safe Families for Children, on the golf committee for Emerald Youth Foundation, the board of the Alice Bell-Springhill Aquatic Club, and with CrossPoint Church.

He and his wife, Hannah, reside in Knoxville and have one son. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and buying, selling and dabbling with classic cars.

Founded in 1972, Powell Auction conducts well over 200 auctions annually in the areas of real estate, automobiles, equipment, coins and antiques. The president is Kenny Phillips.
