Halls Elementary School’s PTO knows how to throw a party, and they were ready with yet another fun festival with Bluegrass and BBQ May 11. Held on the school park and playground, there was food, music and fun for the whole family.

PTO president Heather Cardwell said the festival was a little different this year. Instead of using the event as a fundraiser, the PTO just threw a party. They invited food trucks and vendors and just let folks have fun.

“We just wanted a big party to celebrate the end of school,” she said. “We’ve tried to kind of revamp it a little bit.”

Here are some scenes from the festivities.
