The Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum (KBGA) has announced its selection by Grayson Subaru for the “Subaru Share the Love” event. The KGBA will receive a multi-year grant to initiate the development of the Grayson Grove Amphitheatre. A check will be presented by Grayson Subaru on Wednesday, May 5, at 10:30 a.m. The presentation will take place at the KBBA’s Center for Urban Agriculture and ECO Garden located at 2649 Boyd’s Bridge Pike.

Funds will be used to rebuild and revitalize an old amphitheater on the grounds of the 47-acre botanical garden. Revitalizing the actual amphitheater structure is part of a multi-year project to develop and create a new venue for music and theatrical performances, festivals and other performing arts activities with the intention of engaging the community, providing opportunities for local and regional artists and other performances from around the United States as well as other countries.
