The Halls Crossroads Women’s League is at it again with a fun day of golf to support its projects in the Halls community.

Last year, the Women’s League’s first-ever golf tournament was a big success, and members hope this year will be even better. The tournament is set for Monday, Aug. 20, at Beaver Brook Country Club. The format is four-person scramble. Players will tee off in a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Check-in starts at 10:30 a.m. with lunch provided at 11:30 a.m. A putting contest will be held before play begins.

Individual registration is $100 with team registration of $400. Team registration that includes a hole sponsor is $500. Additional sponsorships include: championship sponsor $15,000, clubhouse sponsor $7,500, food sponsor $3,500, goody bag sponsor $3,000, snack sponsor $600, putting green sponsor $400, driving range sponsor $300, hole sponsor $150.

Prizes include closest to hole on all par 3’s, longest drive on two holes, putting contest, and three winners (first, second and third) for two flights.

The Halls Crossroads Women’s League is a non-profit service organization whose members work to make a difference in Halls. Many organizations benefit from the Women’s League’s activities, including Halls area schools, Halls Welfare Commission, Clayton Park, Family Promise, HonorAir, local veterans, and local families in need.
