The gym at the Farragut Community Center has reopened with a brand-new floor, and the public is once again invited to use the gym for various activities on a reservation basis.
Individuals or groups can reserve either the entire gym or a half court for basketball, pickleball, kickball, dodgeball or lap walking. Available times are Mondays from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m., Tuesdays from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Cost is $2 per person for a half court. There can be no more than six people per half court in your family or associated group.
Gym users must call 865-218-3376 at least one hour before arrival to reserve a spot. Users can pay over the phone or at the front desk when they arrive. If they are not able to attend the session, they should cancel at least 15 minutes before the session starts. After two no-shows, users will no longer be able to reserve the gym. Everyone must sign up for a free membership the first time they use the community center; this is a simple process that requires just a few minutes.
