Easter fun at Belle Morris School

A fun community event is coming up at Belle Morris Elementary School today (4/20).

The sixth annual UpTown North Knoxville Easter Celebration will run from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Belle Morris School, 2308 Washington Pike.

We had more than 1,000 attend last year’s Easter Egg Hunt and Safety Saturday event, and we’re expecting at least that many or more this year! I’ve posted the details below and you can also visit the website.

The event is free and open to the public, with portraits with the Easter Bunny, egg races and several egg hunts for different age ranges. With 4,000 eggs hidden in the playground, there will be fun for everyone. We will also have snacks and drinks on hand for families to enjoy. Safety Saturday follows the Easter event; we have first responders and their vehicles at Belle Morris for children to explore, and kids will get to see a bomb robot in action!

Parking is available at Belle Morris Elementary School and across the street at Washington Pike United Methodist Church. The event is sponsored by a partnership of the UpTown North community including neighborhoods, churches, schools, businesses and countless families and friends.
