‘Dementia vs. Normal Aging’ class offered

The town of Farragut will host a free class, “Dementia vs. Normal Aging,” at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at Farragut Town Hall, 11408 Municipal Center Drive.

Instructor Melanie Cahill of Choices Senior Care will talk about how to tell normal aging from early signs of dementia, such as memory loss that disrupts daily life.

Cahill will address such questions as:

  • What types of memory loss are normal as we age?
  • What are the early signs of dementia?
  • Are there lifestyle choices that can promote successful aging?

A light lunch will be provided. Register by Friday, Oct. 6, at townoffarragut.org/register, in person at Town Hall or 218-3375.
