The Knox County Engineering and Public Works Department has been doing an excellent job. Here’s a snapshot:

  • Bob Kirby Road: Crews cleaned up large rocks and sediment at the intersection of Bob Kirby and Secretariat Boulevard to improve storm water flow
  • Westland Drive: Crews milled existing asphalt and placed new asphalt for a settled and rough area near South Gallaher View Road and Westland Drive intersection
  • Brown Mountain Loop: Paving crews milled and placed new asphalt for damaged area on Brown Mountain loop
