Representing North-Eastern Asia, Zoo Knoxville’s white-naped cranes enjoy a habitat that is front-and-center at the Asia Trek. The male and female have a strong pair-bond and can usually be seen together, foraging for insects. They can also be heard making their unison call to protect their territory and strengthen their bond. As part of the Species Survival Plan, this pair has successfully raised two chicks together.
