There will be Christmas tree lighting on Friday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m. at Everly Brothers Park in Bearden.

The West High School singers will sing. There will be Starbucks coffee and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. “They are free, but donations to the park will be accepted,” said Terry Faulkner, project chair of the Bearden Village Council.

Vice Mayor Duane Grieve will light the tree, a gigantic Leyland Cypress.  He will also deliver an update on the Everly Brothers Park progress.

Children are welcome!

Biltmore Property Group, the city of Knoxville, and the Bearden Village Council are sponsors.
