Artists on Location 2022: a plein air painting event

Jay FitzDowntown, Our Town Arts

The Guild of the Knoxville Museum of Art presents Artists on Location 2022 a Plein Air Painting Event. Artists selected through a careful, juried process have been painting outdoors in and around Knoxville Monday through Friday, April 18-22.

The public is invited to watch the artists in action as they capture a wide variety of subject matter on canvas, from urban street scenes to pastoral garden settings.

These paintings will be sold on Saturday, April 23, at KMA. The 5:30-9 p.m. event is free and open to the public and will include a cash bar. Proceeds of the sale will benefit both participating artists and the Knoxville Museum of Art.
