  • Football Kickoff 2017, a fundraiser for Goodwill Foundation of Knoxville, is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Lauricella Center inside Neyland Stadium. The event will be catered by Citico’s Restaurant at Windriver and participants will have access to the locker room, media center and sidelines of Shields-Watkins Field. Tickets are $100.   • Dirty Dogs Done Dirt Cheap, a low-cost vaccine clinic and dog wash, will be held 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley, 6717 Kingston Pike.
  • History Hound Dog costume contest will be a feature event of the East Tennessee History Fair, 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at Krutch Park in Downtown Knoxville.   • Fun with Farragut’s Fleet, a chance for kids to get up close to big equipment used by the town of Farragut and Knox County, will be held this year at McFee Park, 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19.
