  • Cherokee Caverns presents Bats and Bones, an evening with anthropologist Dr. Bill Bass and cave historian Jim Whidby, Tuesday, June 13. Tickets are $30 and seating is limited. Info: www.Cherokeecaverns.com
  • Nkechi Ajanaku memorial services will be held 3-6 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at Haley Heritage Square, 1600 Dandridge Avenue. Ms. Ajanaku, 60, passed away June 1 at UT Medical Center. She oversaw African American Appalachian Arts Inc., which presents Kuumba every June.
  • Relentless Blues will perform at Knox County’s Second Saturday Concert series, 6-8 p.m. Saturday, June 10, New Harvest Park, 4775 New Harvest Lane. The concert initially set for The Cove at Concord Park has been cancelled due to recent storm damage and will not be rescheduled.
  • The Clinch River Chapter of Trout Unlimited will host Kids Fish Free Day 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 10, at the Miller Island boat access of Clinch River in Norris. The event is free and open to all. Info: https://crctu.org/.
